The goal of this presentation is to request adoption of this work by the working group. The slide deck begins with 9 slides that are copied from the IETF121 presentation of this work. They are provided for reference and context. The discussion in REGEXT at this meeting will focus on the last three slides, 10, 11, and 12, which present the work in progress. We are not expecting to solve or answer the open issues at this meeting. There’s probably more to say about the issues than there is time to discuss them although I’ll certainly answer any questions as long as time permits. Our primary purpose of presenting them is to show that there is work to be done and we need the broader expertise of this working group to ensure the best solution. Recall that adoption was previously requested at IETF121. We received a lot of great comments, we added another level of detail to the document, and noted a number of specific open issues in the document that we are actively considering. We have not fundamentally changed what we’re proposing so we believe we’re ready for this to work to be a good starting point of REGEXT work. Thanks and “see” you Tuesday morning.
