gnu-eiffel-libraries wants to provide easily usable Eiffel wrappers of many
of the major libraries used in the Free Software. It aims to support the GNU
Eiffel compiler SmartEiffel ( http://smarteiffel.loria.fr/ ).
Some of the libraries that shall be wrapped are:
* GTK+ The GIMP Toolkit
* GSL - GNU Scientific Library
* GNU Triangulated Surface Library
* BLAS (Basic Linear Algebra)
* Gnome libraries (Gnome-vfs GConf)
An example of how the work will go on is my work on wrappers for GTK+ 2.x
that can be read at http://svn.debian.org/wsvn/egtk/egtk2/trunk/?rev=0&sc=0
.
I will also import some low-level wrapper classes automatically generated
with the Eiffel Wrapper Generator wrapper and some other partially
implemented hand-made wrappers that can be found at
http://it.geocities.com/tybor76/gnu-eiffel-libraries.tgz
