XMMS2-OSD is a client for the xmms2 project to enable the use of osd to
display information from xmms2 daemon using the osd library.
Currently it supports a variety of settings and most of osd options from
command line or configuration file. Reporting song name on change, or at
dinamic mode it reports song progress. Also with xmms2 daemon volumechanges.
This project is intended to keep alive the xmms2-osd daemon initiated by
Sham Chukoury (http://eleusis.f2o.org/projects/xmms2/), initially I patched
it and sent it to him to publish yet he didn't seem interested, now I'm
packaging it using python's disttools writing man pages and all the related
documentation also with some enhances in it's features.
