######### REGISTRATION DETAILS #########
Full Name:
----------
Warzone Ressurection
System Group Name:
-----------------
warzone
Type:
-----
Programs
License:
--------
GNU General Public License V2 or later
Description:
------------
Warzone 2100 was a commercial 3D RTS game published in 1999, and was
released under a GPL license in 2004.
The project is a fork off the now largely defunct and inactive Warzone
project on Berlios. I am/was one of main coder for this project, but would
now like to start a new project with less people and clearer goals. The
Berlios project and the project source code is to be found on
http://developer.berlios.de/projects/warzone
The source code is written in C and it and the data files are licensed under
the GNU GPL. The size of a checkout of the current svn head is approximately
100MB.
Other Software Required:
------------------------
Does not depend on non-free software. Requires OpenAL and PhysicsFS, both
free software not commonly found on free software systems today. Hardware
accelerated OpenGL is recommended and may later be required.
Other Comments:
---------------
The current svn repository on Berlios is a terrible mess, and should not be
imported as is. A clean commit of the latest Berlios version is preferable
even if this loses all previous history.
