SteamPress is a fork of WordPress 1.5.2, a GPLv2 blogging platform.
Like a steam press for clothes SteamPress cleans up the WordPress codebase.
By cleaning up code and markup as well as stabilizing the current feature
while cutting out non-necessary code we hope to make SteamPress a reference
platform for future blogging software.
We want SteamPress to becomes a teaching tool through clean code, an open
development process, and helpful developers. Not just a teaching tool of PHP,
mySQL, and HTML, but of good development practices.
We think we can fulfill these aims while providing stable blogging software.
