I gather more info can be obtained from the notepad-plus project on
sourceforge. The trouble is that your software only runs on a proprietary
platform, while we require that projects do not depend on proprietary
software at all.
Scintilla being itself portable, you should easily port notepad++ to at
least GNU/Linux for instance. If you're willing to work on such a port and
show some preliminary code, we'd be happy to host you.
