You need to proplery licence both your program and data files :
- please insert the whole modified BSD licence text on top of every source
file; referring to a COPYING.txt is not legally sufficient
- please add a README and state clearly who owns the copyright on which
data, and what is the attached licence
Note that "Linux" is just a kernel of a more complex system that we like to
refer to as GNU/Linux, to emphasize the ideals of the Free Software movement.
