Era Of Ecology is a mix between Alpha Century (game style, colonization) and
Settlers (resources management, interaction between resources and production,
real time). The aim is to colonize a planet while respecting the environment.
It allows several players to work together on a same planet, and prefer the
mutual aid from the confrontation. EoE sensitizes people to the ecology,
because it shows them the environments problems which are generated by an
exceed development.
The game is 3D isometric and is real time. It uses the SDL library in order to
be multiplateform (Linux and Windows for now).There are two programs: the
server manages the players connections and hosts a game which represents a
planet. The client allows a player to choose the planet he wants to colonize
and then plays...
