KGraphViewer is a GraphViz dot graph viewer for KDE. The graphviz dot
program is a free software layout engine for graphs. They are commonly used in
scientific domains and particularly in computer science. But until now there
was a lack of GUI to look at the graphs. Programs given with GraphViz are out
of date X11 or Tcl/Tk ones with few functionalities.
My project KGraphViewer is aimed at replacing these tools with a user friendly
tool. Current version as the following abilities:
- loading of multiple graphs in tabs ;
- recents files list ;
- manual file reloading ;
- navigation with a graph miniature ;
- moving with the mouse ;
- simple printing (no auto-zooming nor splitting in pages);
- closing of tabs.
Planned features are:
- loading of huge graphs (currently, memory is exhausted around 1000 nodes)

- auto-reload on file change (with or not with user-confirmation);
- integration in kate and konqueror ;
- zoom ;
- better printing (splitting in pages, with zoom or not);
- graph editing ;
- handling of not dot formats ;
- saving in dot format (regenerate original file or equivalent).

Note that this program includes code from the GPL tool kcachegrind by
Josef Weidendorfer, with his authorization.
