(please excuse me if this is the wrong way to ask)
Is it possible, and if so is it a good idea, to import the revision meta
information from the three files ibuffer.el, ibuf-ext.el, and ibuf-macs.el
within the lisp directory of the emacs project on Savannah ?
I think that it would be nice not to throw that history away, ideally.
