==== Description: ====
The project "Dungeons of Wesnoth" aims to create a multiplayer online role
playing game in the setting of the open source turn based strategy game
"Wesnoth" (GPL). This includes the general backstory and persons as well as
all the artwork.

The game engine itself will be written from scratch in Python, no source code
exists as of yet. As backend the Allegro library with various addons (for
Python, OpenGL, networking, text drawing and loading .png/.jpg/.ttf/.ogg/.it
file formats) will be used.

The idea of the game so far is that it will play similar to the open source
game "Nethack" (GPL), but it will support multiple players, maybe altering
the turn based nature of Nethack partly into realtime to achieve that.

Technically, multiplayer will work by one player creating a game and acting
as host, to which others can join if they know the IP address. (There might
also be a master list somewhere listing open games, if there ever will be
enough players so this would make sense.)

==== Other Software Required: ====
Allegro plus addons
