The aim of the project is to develop the Linux ALSA driver for sound card
Emagic Audiowerk 2. ALSA (http://www.alsa-project.org/)
provides audio and MIDI functionality to the Linux operating system. The
driver is inspired from previous GPL Windows and Linux drivers
(http://www.landamore.com/audiowerk.html and
http://www.sipkema-digital.com/~msipkema/audiowerk.html) for another
soundcard (Audiowerk 8).
