Projetmmo is an open source Massive Multiplayer Online Browser Game.
It can be played using a simple browser, and is released under the french
license CeCILL V2, an equivalent of GNU/GPL.

ProjetMMO has already won a government contest named "Envie d'agir" (want to
act) which reward new projects and initiatives in France.

ProjetMMO won the local part of this contest in Seine Maritime in January
2007, and may participate to the national part at the end of this summer
2007, but in order to participate the game must be in beta realese for the
first of september 2007.
The game consist in a strategic and role playing game in a heroic fantasy
context inspired by the imagination of all the actif member

The game is strongly based on tactical, role playing, and economic ideas, and
the goal is to present a full game, which allow not only player to fight
against each other to win, but to compete in many other way by offering new
way to trade or share ressources, train powerful units and heroes, have an
legion of spy to collect informations and sell them afterwards, make mabush
to steal ressources, ...
The project is totally open-source and the art and text are under the LAL
liscence (www.artlibre.org), interpretation of the GNU/GPL licence for art in
french.
