This is an SDL based game. It is similar to "solar winds", an old DOS game. I
wrote it up to now myself using C++ and SDL. For a lot of the graphics I used
the Gimp. The game is not complete, but it has some basic functionality. I
wrote this project to see if I could write a game using SDL. I also felt the
need to share my code with the community. I think this project could turn
into a enjoyable game and also, since I am not a great programmer yet, it
could help others on my level to understand and get involved. I want this
project to stay simple and clear to the ones that want to start with SDL and
game development in Linux, but also to have some more advanced features that
I cannot provide myself based on my experience. You will find a zip file of
the project at "pansacreations.com/looseions.zip".
