GStressFS is a basic framework that one may use to stress their filesystem.
The goal of this project is not to provide a benchmarking tool but to provide
a structure for systems admins that want to test a specific feature in their
environment. Thus they could determine which filesystem may be more
appropriate to use with that specific feature (that may be implemented as a
specific test).
It already contains an empty file creation test and a fixed size file
creation test as examples. It really stresses the filesystem : do not use on
production machines !!
There is still many things to do, to achieve a better framework (see TODO
file for ideas).
