Follow-up Comment #5, task #5871 (project admin): Do you mean that I need the full 12 line notice? Even for scripts that is about 12 lines in itself?
I did read http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-3.0.html#howto and it says "... It is safest to attach them to the start of each source file to most effectively state the exclusion of warranty; and each file should have at least the “copyright” line and a pointer to where the full notice is found." Doesn't this mean that it's nice to put the full notice in every single file, but they should *at least* have a copyright line and a pointer to the notice? So what about: /* Copyright 2008, Jonatan Liljedahl This program is released under the terms of the GNU General Public License version 3 or any later version. See COPYING for details. */ _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://gna.org/task/?5871> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Gna! http://gna.org/ _______________________________________________ Register mailing list [email protected] https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/register
