==== Description: ====
I'm the author of KBibTeX [1], a BibTeX editor for KDE. This project is quite
successful and is included in all major Linux distributions.
So far, the project has been hosted on my private webpage at the Unix AG at
the University of Kaiserslautern. Although the Unix AG offers most basic
services to host such a project, some features are missing, most notable
public write access to my svn respository for external users.
I'm in the phase of preparing a final release of KBibTeX for KDE3 and the
next step will be to port KBibTeX to KDE4. For this project, I want to use a
service provider which offers more sophisticated services (public svn, s.a.)
for open source project development compared to my current provider.
After comparing different services including Sourceforge and Google Code, I
decided to come to gna.org to start a new repository for KBibTex/KDE4.

==== Other Software Required: ====
KBibTeX currently depends on the Qt/KDE3 library stack and several tools
provided by a standard TeXmf installation.
Non-standard dependencies are YAZ [2] and BibUtils [3]
