==== Description: ====
ISOmorphin is an ISO mounting manager for GNOME. It can mount/unmount, with a
list of ISOs that can be mounted, and mount DVD ISOs with autoplay in you
favorite player. There is no need to have root access for mounting (mount is
done via FuseIso, so ISO, BIN, NRG, IMG, and MDF are supported). Conversion
from extra image formats to ISO and ISO, creation from files or media and
verification of ISO via md5 or sha1 sums are supported.
It is a graphical frontend for fuse, mkisofs, isoinfo and iat
(iat.berlios.de). It will be only avaliable on platform where this softwares
have been ported (so not Windows)
It is written in python by using pygtk for graphical interface. Source code
can be found here :
http://chrystalyst.free.fr/isomorphin/ISOmorphin-0.2.1.tgz
==== Other Software Required: ====
It depends on many software but the only not normally found in a minimum Free
Operating System is iat (Iso9660 Analyzer Tool). According to his author,
"[it] is a tool for detecting the structure of many types of CD-ROM image
file formats, such as BIN, MDF, PDI, CDI, NRG, and B5I, and converting them
into ISO-9660." The project homepage is : http://iat.berlios.de/
