Aeropic is a software and hardware architecture for controlling Micro Air
Vehicles (MAVs). The project include a dsPIC33-based open-hardware autopilot
board equipped with the sensors required for autonomous flight (gyros,
pressure sensors, GPS, etc.) and the corresponding open-source firmware. The
Gna project would host both the hardware description as well as the
software.
The code is currently not available online, but the scientific project within
which it has been developed is described here:

The license will written by the IP office of our university (EPFL, Lausanne),
and will likely follow the form of the e-puck license
(http://www.e-puck.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=18&Itemid=45),
another open-hardware project of our university. This is a GPL-like licence.
