This is a requirement list for the project. There is actually no code
produced.
FreeJobFinder is a tool to aggregate job offers from different job
sites and manage them locally. Managing means the ability to have logs
and attach files.
- Possibibity to fetch job opportunities (JO) on a variety of job
websites.
- Less filling of forms with automatic searches (region, job, salary,
etc...) with possilibity to customize searches. Information flow is:
- Global information (name, date of birth, ...)
- Custom searches (want to work here, with salary XYZ€)
- For each custom search, define a list of specific searches
depending on websites.
- classify JO, add them to interesting JO list.
- Logs per JO, or per day, attachement of CV / motivation letter /
other to a JO
- Possibility to manage CV:
- Propose automatic translation
- Propose categories
- Propose specialization to particular offers (move sections, remove
abilities...)
- Automatic format to HTML, PDF, HR-XML, for customization. Word
formatting based on an open format.
- Style using external CSS.
- Easy future internationalization
- Primary platform: Linux.
- Possibility of an easy porting to other platforms
