==== Description: ====
Project name: meniou
Goals:
1 - menu application implementing the freedesktop specification 1.1 (well,
part of the specs due to the way the menu is done). It displays apps found in
.desktop files from standardized directories.
2 - customizable display: possibility to set a background picture, use
transparency (when compositing manager enabled) and non rectangular window
(with or without compositing manager enabled), ...
3 - possibility to execute apps not in the .dekstop file but present in the
$PATH.
4 - possibility to run programs as another user.
Point 1 & 2 almost finalized, 3 & 4 to do.
Option opened but still to be decided if it will be implemented: browse
filesystem and open file in its related applications (by checking mime type).
Lib/api used: gtk, glib, gdk, cairo.
Regarding the URL to the source code, I don't know how I can do that. Where
can I store that info so you can have access to it ?
