This project aims to extends "Flying Saucer" (XHTMLRenderer) library. Flying
Saucer takes XML or XHTML and applies CSS 2.1-compliant stylesheets to it, in
order to render to PDF (via iText), images, and on-screen using Swing or SWT.
The library implements (basically) the entirety of CSS 2.1 and aims to be
fully compliant with the W3C specification; it includes a small handful of CSS
3 features.
The customization aims to add a feature on HTML table treatment, by adding
the possibility to insert a metadata tag without degrading the HMI (which is
not actually supported by original library)
Original project was hosted on http://xhtmlrenderer.java.net/, and has been
transfered to http://code.google.com/p/flying-saucer/. The associated source
code repository is stored in
http://github.com/flyingsaucerproject/flyingsaucer.
This customized project aims to add a feature to the original library,
starting from a version that is no more available under github.com

The dependencies are the ones required by original project "Flying Saucer".
Basic requirements:
* Java Runtime Environment 1.4 or above (or JDK of course)
* core-renderer.jar (our distribution)
* iText (also at iText PDF )
* Ant if you want to build from source
