SciteProj is a GPL licensed project manager for the text editor SciTE (which
is short for Scintilla Text Editor, available at
http://www.scintilla.org/SciTE.html ), and in short it is a GTK-based treeview
representing a "project" - Currently I am saving the project to disk as a XML
file, but future version instead will show the contents of a folder and some
subfolders directly, with options to hide files and sort them in customizable
ways. This will make it possible to use any folder as a "project", and won't
require making a XML file to use as project first. It is a continuation of the
ScitePM project by Roy Wood. ( http://sourceforge.net/projects/scitepm/ )

This program currently has a home on sourceforge, but after reading "Free
Software Needs Free Tools" by Benjamin Mako Hill, (
http://mako.cc/writing/hill-free_tools.html ) - I am looking for an _free_
solution with similar capabilities (or several places, if all my needs aren't
met in one place)
