This is a module and a daemon to control the fan of Dell laptops.
i8kutils is an already developed project at the version 1.33 and is orphaned
at Debian. So, the obvious place to continue this project is at Debian, but
I'd like to register here that I tried to subscribe to be the mainteiner of
this project at Debian but did not receive any reply. As its original
developper no longer is interested in maintaining this (link below), I believe
there is no problem in improving the code, keeping this GPL licensed.

This project is intended to be an upgrade, removing obsolete things and
actualizing the implementation.
The new objective is just control the fan of Dell laptops, excluding buttons
control and gui.
For now, it is needed to remove the control of Dell laptop buttons, that is no
longer needed. Also, it needs the removal of gui to make more objective e
practical. And perhaps use a more modern language instead of tclsh scripting
one.
