==== Description: ====
I am writing you to request project space on Gna! for my project
“GNU/Linux-libre Operating System”, or GLLOS. In short, this project has
the following deliverables, each with source code origins:

* Website Content: Written in Org mode, the website pages shall reside at
http://gnulinuxlibre.org and are a combination of project description pages as
standard GNU projects have and project planning materials, all written in Org
mode.
* Build Book: The primary deliverable for the project is a build book that
1) provides instruction on building from source a GNU/Linux-libre OS, 2)
aligns with the Free Software Foundation's Guidelines for Free System
Distributions, and 3) intersperses comments as to why free software is the
right choice, explaining each package decision in context with this ideal.
While the text will also be available on the webpages, generated from org
files, the build book releases will be written in Texinfo.
* Build Scripts: While a final decision hasn't been made yet as to the
scripting language to be used to create a build script infrastructure, later
versions of the build book shall rely heavily on script not only for executing
the builds, but also for scanning the source code and stopping the build
process whenever non-free licenses are found, warning the user that the
GNU/Linux-libre project respects users computing freedom.
* ISO: Occasionally the build book will be executed to produce an ISO users
can utilize to install GLLOS upon freedom-respecting hardware. The ISO images
will be hosted at http://gnulinuxlibre.org but will be discussed using the
mailing lists provided by Gna!

Thus far only the site templates in Org mode have been created. Once I have a
repository, I shall begin development of the project in earnest.

Thank you!

==== Other Software Required: ====
None. I plan to meet and exceed:
https://www.gnu.org/distros/free-system-distribution-guidelines.html

==== Other Comments: ====
I hope through the activity of my project to bring not only users to my build
book, but also new users to Gna! who will help the site improve and continue
to serve the Free Software community. Thank you!
