==== Description: ====
Guidelines for Creating GNU Spaces (GCGS)
GCGS is a book that explores the core requirements of creating "GNU spaces",
drawing parallels with "hacker spaces" but focusing on making freedom the
primary goal, pulling together ethical programmers and GNU hackers to write
free software and the documentation that supports it, while also educating
users and providing a "free software zone" in cities where such environments
may not currently exist. From the philosophical to the practical, GCGS is a
manual for the GNU hackers and FSF members of tomorrow.
Initial Outline:

Current Status: In outline mode, with drafts being prepared for first commit
to Gna! should the project be accepted. I am currently working with Jose E.
Marchesi of GNU Spain and pulling from his experience with GNU community work
for inclusion to the book.

==== Other Comments: ====
I have three book sprints scheduled for this piece to bring it to a
release-ready state that can then be read, but with the intent bring on other
GNU/FSF leaders to improve upon the document with their own experiences such
that it can truly be pointed to as a GNU Users Group leader manual, or GNU
space creator HOWTO and "WHYTO".
