==== Description: ====
wkhtmltopdf/wkhtmltoimage are open source (LGPLv3) command line tools to
render HTML into PDF and various image formats using the Qt/Webkit rendering
engine.
Website: http://wkhtmltopdf.org/
Source Code: http://github.com/wkhtmltopdf/wkhtmltopdf
(mirror) http://bitbucket.org/wkhtmltopdf/wkhtmltopdf
Downloads: http://sourceforge.net/projects/wkhtmltopdf
All development happens at Github. I used to maintain a mirror at Gitorious
but since that shutdown maintain a mirror at BitBucket.
I will be mostly using gna for two purposes:
1. complete mirror of the source code
2. hosting of downloads
The main motivation of using GNA is:
1. free (libre) hosting, similar to gitorious
2. downloads served via plain apache directories
Point #2 is important to me, as people often use older versions of wkhtmltopdf
and each release has a lot of packages (~20 or so), so it needs to be
organized, preferably with a directory hierarchy.
Please note that I make packages for Windows and OS X as well, so if it is not
acceptable to host it I would prefer to know it beforehand.
==== Other Software Required: ====
Qt
WebKit (via QtWebKit module)
==== Other Comments: ====
The recent news about SourceForge hijacking downloads was a trigger in seeking
a different host for source code and downloads.
