==== Description: ====
The goal of this project is to build a set of scripts (short programmes in
Shell language and the like), to raise a web and database server both with
encrypted filesystem for the user data.
The programmes basicaly mount a couple of encrypted filesystems and then
configure htdocs and mysql/data to point each to each one.
The programmes will work on top of a particular Linux Distro called TinyCore,
and probably not elsewhere because it was implemented by way of introducing
stuff in system scripts known only to that Distro.
The programme will not install the servers and the encryption library by its
own, it just tie all ends to work together. Moreover, the distro itself gives
you packages ready to install and the following were used to test with:
apache2, mariadb and encfs.
Unrelated but yet being part of this project is another programmes and conf
files to have rsync running too, will work especially on TinyCore akin to the
above-mentioned programmes.
It was thought as a starting point to a personal web-interfaced notebook, with
privacy and lightweight-ness in mind for the sake of carriability on a flash
drive. It is still at a very early stage and hence there is problems to get
rid of, for example when the system tears down, it happens that encfs
terminates before the other modules denying a chance for them to flush data.
Source code will be attached to this file.
