Yes, I was able to test with following glassfish versions on Ubuntu 7.10
glassfish-v2-b58g
glassfish_v1ur1_p01
And on windows
glassfish-v2ur1
glassfish-v2-b58g
hello.war deployment was successful on windows with galssfish v2-b58g.
Except this all the other deployment attempts were failed.
I have posted this matter to glassfish forum and waiting for their reply.
And in meantime I will try to deployed wso2registy.war (with jsp
compiler error fix) in an fresh environment.
As per the reply I got though Glassfish forum this issue has caused due
to org.apache.catalina.loader.WebappClassLoader can not load the
servlet-api-2.5-6.1.5.jar. So the jar file was removed from registry.war
and redeployed again. But the same exception occurred again.
I was able to successfully deploy hello.war and sample.war files with
Glassfish V2 by following below steps.
- Undeploy the applications.
- Stop the server.
- Backup/delete server.log.
- Start the server. Redeploy the applications.
Exception generated due to wso2registry.war deployment seems to have
impact on sample .war deployment as well. Anyway we may need to
investigate more about this issue from our end.
