+1, But it is better to put the text “Required field are marked with *” in the bottom of the page.To keep the consistency with other pages, we need to mark all other mandatory fields of other pages as well .And proper validations and warning messages should be shown if user left any of the mandatory field blank.Other than that I would like to suggest following points as Usability improvements to the UI.

1.Set default text for tag search box by specifying what kind of search they can do using the search box. One user has already tried to search resource descriptions though this box. it seems like users are misunderstanding the functionality. As Chathura suggested, if we can extend to include description and the resource name searches then this search box will be more usable to users.

2.Currently system clean up the entered search criteria when user press the search button in search pages. It would be more useful to keep search criteria and provide “Reset/Clear” button to clear the search strings if user wants. Users trend to do another search based on their previous search if they don't find the exact result. So if we keep the search criteria it will be just a matter of modifying the search inputs.

3.Provide sorting options for Advance search results. Design can be done to sort the results by clicking column name.

4.Sort drop down values alphabetically or given priority.

5.Provide easy way to navigated into resource page from versions page. User have to press Browser back button or Resources tab in order to go to resource pages from version pages. So it is better to hyperlink the resource path in version page.

Thoughts please...

Regards,
Krishantha.
