My guess is that this is a problem with flash. Nothing to do with Firefox or GDK. I am working on an Adobe Air application. Using the Air debug launcher. (adl) The test application has Air running Flex running webkit running Flash and this is where this warning shows up. Anything without this second layer of flash does not have any problems. My guess is poor GDK programming on the part of Adobe.
