Same issue here on the Debian (sid) side using a X201 with latest BIOS from 23 Apirl. I get same blinking CapsLock and freeze as Jeffrey Baker described. Also I would like to add, that the blank screen remains with kernel 2.6.34-1-adm64 (from experimental and a self compiled one).
