Forgive me if this is unrelated but we've just installed 10.04 from a network install cd onto a Dell R210 with RAID-1 using ext4 as /. The disks report back damn fast using hdparm -tT and using dd, but when dpkg says it's unpacked it's files there seems to be a massive delay before progressing to configuring the packages. Are we seeing this bug too or something similar?
