After reporting this request, I found an existing request on Debian. There was a licensing challenge with version 2.3.0, Paul Wise stated he was waiting for 2.3.1 to package for Debian. I hope that will happen fairly soon. I think we can wait for the version to show up in Debian and the sync it (pull it, not sure of the terminology) into Ubuntu.
