Hey everyone, Just a little addition. As long as you have a windows machine attached to the network with the HP software installed and working on it, you can still share that printer via samba (as windows believes that it's using a USB connection). It means you have to leave the windows machine turned on in order to print off the linux based one, but it's better than nothing in the meantime.
