Igor's solution is the one that worked for me. My channel was set to Automatic, 11. I logged in to my router and changed it to Manual, 10. Then deleted the existing connection from Network Manager and found and reconnected to my router. And I guess I will live happily everafter. Thanks guys, thanks Igor!
