I've tried Yura Tolstik's advise of using the old AppleUSBVideoSupport driver and did get this:
** Message: Found Mac OS X.5.1 driver ** Message: Firmware extracted successfully in /lib/firmware/isight.fw ** Message: Apply patch 0 : Fix video control interface descriptor ** Message: Apply patch 1 : Fix video streaming interface descriptor ** Message: Apply patch 2 : Fix video streaming device qualifier ** Message: Firmware patched successfully Which is better than the "driver not found" - however, cheese still doesn't see the camera even after reboot. Any other suggestions? -- package isight-firmware-tools 1.2-8 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 134 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/420834 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Registry Administrators, which is the registrant for Debian. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~registry Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~registry More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
