I get the same problem with maverick! However I have no idea how to supply you with any log files, as the dvd just boots without giving any options such as failsafe graphics so i cannot access the system. As I have stated I am not linux competent. Can I see anything from a terminal session as I can probably shortcut into one. I would be grateful for any further guidance. Also for your information 2.6.32-20 gives the same screen on shutdown.
