Under Ubuntu 9.10, compiz was enabled each time I ran startx. Even
though I disabled it through gnome-appearance-properties. Then I
upgraded to 10.04, and now I have to manually run gnome-appearance-
properties and enable it each time to get a working window manager and
decorations. I'd prefer the old 9.10 behaviour of enabling compiz by
default but ideally the preference would be remembered between sessions.
