me too! I vote for having Synaptics automatically install qcad-data with qcad so dimension lines can be displayed. I installed qcad in April so maybe this is already fixed. I just used qcad on Ubuntu 10.04 for the first time and the problem showed up. I downloaded qcad-data and the dimensions in a saved file suddenly appear.
