I found a reference on another bug and it appears that by doing(or setting the file up manually) echo options radeon modeset=0 > /etc/modprobe.d/radeon-kms.conf then I do not appear to have a problem with the graphics on Lucid 2.6.32-24 does this help and is there anything more I can do to help? (Given that I am not a linux expert!)
