This bug is already known upstream at http://trac.yorba.org/ticket/2370 . We've investigated this quite a bit and currently believe this to be a problem at Facebook's end - there may not be much more we can do about this. If Canonical can help us get Facebook's attention to solve this that might be quite helpful.
