Hello, I entered in bug 619582 which has been marked as a duplicate of this bug, 614008. I want to confirm that the fix works here on my system. After updating to the lastest packages for Maverick this evening, including a minor update to the kernel, I can now successfully run lshw- gtk with root priviledges by launching it via gksu.
