I'm not sure from your description if Shotwell is segfaulting or it's entirely Unity. One thing that might help: Run Shotwell from a terminal window like this:
$ SHOTWELL_LOG=1 gdb shotwell 2>&1 | tee shotwell.gdb At the gdb prompt type this: (gdb) run When Shotwell crashes, you should be at the gdb prompt. Type this: (gdb) backtrace full Then exit. If you could attach the shotwell.gdb file to this ticket that would be helpful. If the crash is so hard it kills the terminal window and/or gdb (I've seen both in earlier revisions of Unity), then it's a larger problem than Shotwell. -- croping an image in shotwell crashes unity https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/641554 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Registry Administrators, which is the registrant for Shotwell. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~registry Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~registry More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
