I had the same problem with my printer Canon MP520, when I was printing a bank statement - in PDF, using Document Viewer 2.30.3 in Gnome, Ubuntu Lucid. I have solved the problem by saving the document to PostScript format, then opening the PostScript file (in the Viewer too) and printing it. All was OK. It may not be a solution for all such problems but you can try it. Good luck! Petr
