I'm very skeptical that there is a real problem here to be solved, or a fix that would be any better than any proposed fix. I also don't see this debate ever coming to a conclusion. I understand that a few users are initially stumped by this, but in my opinion, we should be focusing our polishing efforts elsewhere, and leave the CLI optimized for people who need or prefer it.
