SRU verification for Lucid: I have reproduced the problem with tar 1.22-2 in lucid and have verified that the version of tar 1.22-2ubuntu1 in -proposed fixes the issue. I've reproduced the original issue with a lucid chroot on a dapper host. I've run the regression tests and found no regression.
