I'm using Ubunto 10.10 and the bug, with gedit and a fstab mounted CIFS share, is still there. Steps to reproduce (the usuals): - create a new file with gedit in the remote share - type something - Ctrl+S to save - type something - Ctrl+S to save: bug happens!
