I would vote for increasing priority of this bug. Unzip in this version is really useless and using it is dangerous. Consider you have large archive in zip format with accented filenames and it corrupts filenames, so it isn't possible to repair them back! For smaler zip archives there are some workarounds (for ex. using jar from fastjar package).
