Hi Jim, running Lucid Lynx (10.04) here. I already updated shotwell to maverick's version, as you can see above.
I can give you the results of an updated gphoto next week or so. First I'll try the version from maverick. If that fails there is still the version from sourceforge available. Since shotwell isn't the default photo manager in 10.04, you might be happy with the information that I'm going to upgrade my system to 10.10 soon.
